Why do women feel guilty or say we're sorry so often?
Why do women feel guilty or say we're sorry so much more than men? Do you feel the same way? I notice I say sorry even if I didn't do something wrong, an event or something didn't go as planned, and I say I am sorry. Huh? Even guilty, if the home isn't perfect, or half way perfect, I feel guilty.
Pay attention today and see how many times you say sorry or feel a bit guilty. Were you on the phone or computer too long? Did you eat something you shouldn't have? Was it really deserving of an "I'm sorry" or guilt feeling?
Pay attention to the men around you today; whether out & about or at your office, even your family. See if you hear sorry come out of their mouths.
My husband's sorry sounds something like this, "Well.....I'm sorry, but if your foot hadn't been in my way, I wouldn't have stepped on it." Do you experience the same kind of I'm sorries?
