I am so happy that I got to talk to Cousin Sidnie yesterday.  She is doing great, and in the Coast Guard. Who would think that a girl from the high desert would end up in the Coast Guard?  I remember the first time I saw Sidnie, it was in 1989.  Sidnie is Taylor's 1st cousin, if you are wondering.  Sidnie went to elementary school with my nephew, Mike (Jane Ann's son).  Never knew I had a nephew AND a niece in the same class.  Taylor and Sid have a lot in common. I am so glad we've stayed in touch over the years.  Now that they are gettign older, they can have a close relationship. Below is a picture of Sidnie. She's gorgeous! I think Taylor and her look a lot alike. They are first cousins.  I can really see the Japanese in the both of them in these pictures.  They are 1/4 Japanese.

We are having to buy a car, which is not making me happy.   Kind of wierd how I turned out so frugal.  Tim had me test drive a few cars yesterday. The fist cars were Mercedes C and E class cars. I like them both but preferred the E class because they are larger.  Found some good deals, and one I wanted.  Then he took me to the Hyundai dealership, which was mean of him.  How do you go from a Mercedes to a Hyundai? Especially when I owned a Hyundai twenty years ago and it was a lemon.  They have changed a lot and have a good report from Consumer Reports.  We kept the Hyundai over the weekend to see if we like it. It is an Azeria or something like that.

Tim is mowing the yard.  We are having company in a little while. One of the moms from Babycenter is coming over.  They are in town and it's a great opportunity to meet. I haven't actually met one of the other moms from Babycenter.  Most of us have been on the bulletin board for 6 years, since we were pregnant with our October 2002 babies.

Better go get ready.  Have a great day!  Until next time -- Blessings!
