Taylor and Carol's trip to Milwaukee, July 2008

Taylor and me in Milwaukee. We had a great time and stayed at the Pfister Hotel.  The Pfister is part of the Historic Hotels of America and was built in 1893.  It's gorgeous!  It's the 2nd best hotel I have stayed in; 2nd to The Watermark in San Antonio (which is also a Preferred Hotel and Resort property).

Our Kansas office had 3 of the top 20 producers with Northwestern Mutual, a HUGE deal!  Very exciting to see them on stage with 10,000 other NMFN Financial Reps watching at the Bradley Center, home of the Milwaukee Bucks.  Monday morning we had the opportunity to listen to Rudy Guiliani talk about leadership.  He only made one political joke and it was funny.

We also had the opportunity to hear from one of our own NMFN Financial Representatives whom is a survivor of the Columbine shootings in Colorado.  What a true inspiration!

The top two pictures of Taylor were on Lake Michigan.

We were having dinner at Louise's in Milwaukee

More pictures lakeside.  Lake Michigan is so big, you really think you are on the ocean.

The above pictures are at the garden party at the Milwaukee Zoo.  We had a great time and with the ultimate party people.  In the group picture above is Tom Mulhern, Jim Porter (in his zoo pants, wears them every year), Kent Wilson, Taylor, Kent and Judy's daughter and her friend, and Judy Wilson.  I especially like the picture of Taylor and me on the bus coming home from the zoo party. Neither one of us realized each of us were making a funny face.

Reba McIntyre and Archie Manning performing/speaking for us.  Reba was awesome. I knew she'd be good, but she was better than good.  Very sweet and attentive to NMFN.  Archie was good too, humble and couldn't mention a pro team without a section of the crowd cheering for their team being mentioned.  He's not pro football player Archie Manning anymore, he's now Payton and Eli Manning's daddy.
